“Apartmanların Gölgesinde” belgeseli Mersin Mezitli’nin merkezinde imarlı kentsel arazide kadınların yürüttüğü tarım faaliyetini konu ediyor. Mezitli Solinova Kadın Üretici Kooperatifi bünyesinde ilçe belediyesinin desteği ile yürütülen süreç, farklı profillerdeki kentli kadınların özel mülkiyete tâbi 1,5 - 2 dönümlük alanlarda arsa sahibinin izni ile başladıkları zehirsiz tarımsal üretimlerine imkân tanıyor. Film boyunca sürecin paydaşları yaşadıkları deneyimi ve bu deneyimin kendileri, mekânsal ve toplumsal çevreleri üzerindeki etkilerini paylaşıyorlar.

The documentary "Farming in the Shadows" focuses on the agricultural activity of women on the urban plots of Mezitli, Mersin. The endeavor coordinated by the Mezitli Solinova Women Producers’ Cooperative and facilitated by the district municipality, aims at non-toxic agricultural production by women fellow-citizens from different backgrounds. Each woman farms on 1,5-2 acres of urban land thanks to the permission of the landowner. Throughout the film, the stakeholders of the process share their experience and its impact on themselves as well as on their physical and social environment.
